Dear Colleagues,
The international genetic evaluations of Interbull was originally described in a document written in 1994. All modifications and amendments has been described in separate documents and provided as appendices to the original document. Quite a number of these appendices have accumulated over the years and it has become difficult to keep track of all of them. We have therefore tried to bring all of them into one document, termed the Interbull Code of Practice, and a draft is available here http://www-interbull.slu.se/documents/Code_of_practice.pdf
The CoP is mostly a collection of bits and pieces already available, but it has a slightly modified structure compared to the original document of 1994. We hope the structure should be easier to update than the previous. Some things have, however, been described in more detail, and this is mainly in chapters 4, 6 and 7.
This draft will be discussed during the Business Meeting in Rome in a few weeks and you should take that opportunity to comment on the way our services are described. However, I would encourage all of you, especially those that will not come to Rome, to use this forum to express your views already before the Rome meeting! It is as easy as just clicking "Reply" in the upper right corner of this message
Kind regards,
Ulf Emanuelson
