Dear Colleagues,

You might have noticed that the "flag" in the 012-file is now there and I thought some further clarification might be useful!

If the last colum = 0 it means that no information is provided from the country of a bull's international ID, and we hope that the country of this ID would provide a correct record. So, all members participating in the international evaluations are expected to:
1) Check if there is an international bull ID from your country in the 012-file with last colum = 0.
2) If there is, you should include a record of that bull in the next 010-file with complete (if possible) and correct information on birthdate, sire, dam, MGS, and MGD. Breeding values, daughters, EDC, etc, should be indicated as missing, if the bull has no genetic evaluation in your country.

Kind regards,

Ulf Emanuelson
